Deaf Young Adults for Christ Camp Meeting Report

Deaf Young Adults for Christ (DYAC) welcomed 20 campers, with six being first-timers, from different parts of North America to DYAC Camp Meeting 2014 in Cohutta, GA, USA! It was truly a wonderful camp with terrific fellowship among young adults.

The DYAC advisor, Chuck McGehee, was invited as a guest speaker along with a few members, to present on different aspects of our relationship with God. A few features continue to be popular with campers: the Healthy Food workshop, and the Bible Questions and Answers sessions. For the first time, attendees experienced a camp meeting that builds on a specific theme throughout the weekend: “Rooted in Christ.” The wrap-up of this gathering involved each camper developing his/her own plan forfurther personal spiritual growth.
